Scope and Contents Collection contains material, including notes, manuscript drafts, and oral interviews, compiled by Vernon Parcher while writing his book, Engineering, Architecture and Technology, for the Oklahoma State University Centennial Histories Project. Printed material for which there are copies in other collections have been weeded. Photographs are cataloged and housed separately.

Scope and Contents Collection contains books, a copy of Parcher's dissertation, and his class notes from Karl Terzaghi's (considered the father of soil mechanics) course in Engineering Geology offered at Harvard, and Parcher's notes from an Engineering 264 class (soil testing) also offered at Harvard.
